| (1) Non-Execution of Preferential Measures on Local Production | - A Firm established a Construction Equipment Factory in expectation of Preferential Measures on Local Production by Import Tariff Rates as in the case of the Car Industry. However, such measures have not taken place. So far, there has been hardly any merit for constructing the local production plant. | - It is requested that GOR reduces the duty rates to zero on imported CKD components. (The going Duty Rates: 5% on finished car, 4% approx. in weighted average on CKD components). | |
